Composition and gradation of color had a special degree of lightness and darkness. Hue's of emerald, turquoise, and indigo blending from above and below, as frosty white mountain tops settle deeply into sheer enormousness.
I had passed from the civilized world into a world of raw power, boundless possibility, infinite sky, impossible color, tremendous size, and utter, overwhelming silence.
For one month, Patagonia had become my muse, and my medicine.
